great welcomeseparate accommodationcomfortable bed
the pub had a great welcome. lovely character filled the place. the accommodation was away from the pub and very quiet. the room was a beautiful size and had a comfortable bed.
i didnt realise i had to book breakfast in advance, it would have been nice if it had been said upon arrival.

the evening meal had a generous portion. it tasted excellent. i had a full english breakfast that was equally as good. the beer was nice too.

the rooms were separate and just a few steps from the pub. they were clean and had everything i needed. the bed had a great comfort. i felt very quiet.

the staff was lovely. i felt welcome. tim was very helpful and interesting with the history of the area. he brought me extra coffee.

the location felt rural. the accommodation block was separate, there was parking right outside the room door for my convenience. the beer garden was nice and quiet. there was under-cover parking for bikes.

The pub restaurant offered excellent food and beer. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I plan to come again. The rooms are separate from the pub. It is only a few paces away.
The shower did not work properly. I had to wash my hair in the sink. I also had a horrible sleep. There were loads of bites on my body.
